  7. There are many answers for this question. Hindus in different states celebrate it on different days.
    Mostly that will be on first day of Hindu month "Chaitra". Eg: Ugadi,Chaitra Pratipada, Gudhi Padwa, Navreh, Cheiraoba, Puthandu,Mahavishuva Sankranti, Rongali Bihu.
    Cheti Chand : Celebrated by Sindhis on second day of Chaitra
    Bestu Varas: New Year's Day for Gujaratis and this falls on the day next of Diwali. It is according to the Indian calendar based on lunar cycles
