It's business trick, they are trying to keep your money as a gift card balance in ur account for one year and u need to do a transaction for that amount. Anyhow they are giving 50rs off on GC, It doesn't make much difference

Basically its not promoting return but its offering a 5% bonus if you agree to get refund as GC and for that u have to shop on amzon money stay with amazon only

bcaz that amount will stay with them.. they will not credit in you bank account.. and through this they will get interest also..!and u can use it only on amazon which will increase their future sale..!
