1.Maa Kalaratri -Seventh shakti of Maa Durga.The seventh day of Navratri pooja is dedicated to Durga Kalaratri.

2.Jammu & Kashmir

3.Vijayadashmi is also known as Dusserha.This day marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasur.It denotes the victory of truth over the evil.

4.Elephant -Jumboo savari.

5.On the fifth day ,the form of Goddess is called Skand Mata .she is actually called so because she is here represented as the mother of Skanda ,the chief warrior of the God's army.

6.Dussehra is the state festival of Karnataka and is celebrated on a grand scale.

7.The first form of Goddess Durga is called Shailputri.She is condidered the daughter of Himalayas.She is a form of Shakti ,the consort of Lord Shiva.

8.Banni Tree and is very sacred to the Hindus.

9.The Chamundeshwari Temple is located on the top of Chamundi Hills abt 13KM from the palace city of Mysore in the state of Karnataka in India.
