It is unfair to other people in the following way:

Ranjan & I posted the correct link & price within 1 or 2 seconds of your post. As you yourself strongly supported a few days ago, the correct link is a must for getting credit. It was not possible for you to post, test the link, click the edit button, correct the link and save again in 1-2 seconds. Which means in this case both Ranjan & I posted everything correctly before you. Therefore the credit should go to the first post that is not edited unless the following hold true

1) no one posts after the edited post. in which case even if you edit you get the credit or

 2) the 2nd post after your edited post is much later. i.e. you posted at 12.01, edited at 12.02 and someone else posted at 12.03. In this case it is clear that you finished your edit before the post at 12.03

but if you post at 12.01 and edit at 12.01 and someone else has an unedited post at 12.01 then the credit should go to the unedited post at 12.01

Does that sound fair enough to you?
